What a remarkable love story Lydia and Erwin have and what an equally remarkable wedding! 6 years ago they met at a nightclub in Stockholm Sweden - and although Erwin is from The Netherlands and Lydia is from Niagara Canada they decided to test their love long distance. Eventually Lydia moved overseas to be with Erwin - they currently live in Amsterdam.
They decided to wed in lovely Niagara-on-the-Lake but they couldn't do it without all of their Dutch friends and family - over 30 of them flew over for the occasion! Their wedding day included both Canadian and Dutch traditions, many heartfelt words through vows and speeches and a gorgeous harvest table dinner beneath a canopy of cherry trees in the orchard.
The planning and styling of this beautiful day was done by none other than Danielle Shaw of Shaw Events. The day was flawless and effortlessly gorgeous.
