Horseshoe Valley is beautiful in the autumn.  On a brisk October 3rd day in Barrie Lauren and Tom celebrated their love by marrying at this dreamy spot.  The trees were just starting to turn and it was just enough above freezing to be able to have the ceremony a top the ski hill overlooking the resort.  Not by any means was it warm but you wouldn't be able to tell by these shots of the day.  Lauren and the girls braved the cold and were troopers.  I love that we were able to take advantage of the grounds and have their first look outside.  This moment was really one of the best first looks I have shot simply because of the groom's anticipation for it and his response upon seeing Lauren.

The ceremony officiating was very well done and afforded me the luxury of using some great dialogue for the film's narrative.  Tom also had some really moving things to say about Lauren.  The description of how he felt during the first look was really sweet.

All parts of the day were beautiful, happy and most of all full of love and I couldn't be more pleased to show off this film about Lauren and Tom's love for one another.
